  If you want to die in line you can visit. Poor patient handling skills and does not know basics of endocrine. Only local old timers might visit him . Not a doctor for now . Old minded and do not want to change . First he has to keep his health and body fit and need to reduce his weight . Surprised to see a doctor with such a heavy weight and practicing in endocrine . Visited him once and it is my last visit

  My husband started seeing Dr. Goren for his type 2 diabetes after a couple years at another practice that, despite several med changes, just couldn't get his A1c down. Dr. Goren had him straightened out in no time. Hubby has been a patient for years now. I had open heart surgery in 2013 and it threw me into diabetes. I left the hospital taking several shots of insulin a day. They wanted me to follow up with the same practice my husband had left, but i went to see Dr. Goren instead. He immediately took me off the insulin. I take metformin instead. As far as we're concerned, Dr. Goren is the BEST. We've moved from the area but continue to see him twice a year.

  Dr. Goren is a very smart doctor and he takes time to answer patient questions. The office could be more organized, but I suspect that Dr. Goren is hands off about office administration and instead spends his time concerned about his patients and their well being.
